Greetings for the first time in 2016!

I am back at work after an amazing New year break with enormous new teaching ideas, which are ready to be shared.

In this new speaking activity students are asked to see two positive sides of each situation.

LEVEL: Pre-Intermediate and above

Task. Answer 2 questions without mentioning the professions/occupations/social roles of the people from the list:

1. How did this person help you or help you out a year ago?

2) What did you manage to do/start doing/stop doing THANKS TO this person?

Example:

Mark (an English teacher)

Student:

Mark is so great!

1. A year ago he gave me fantastic English lessons.

2. Thanks to him, I started being more confident in English.
