Greetings dear all!
While I am having a little break between my classes today, let me share this new exercise which can definitely fit in the Thanksgiving topic.
LEVEL: Pre-Intermediate and above
Target Language 1: names of everyday life activities
Target Language 2: names of professional activities
Target Language 3: Could you do me a favour and ask (smb) to ...
Task. Make up mini-dialogues using the example.
Example:
(Mary – tailor)
Student 1: I know that your acquaintance Mary is a tailor. Could you do me a favo(u)r and ask her to help me to (e.g. trim my new trousers).
Student 2. Sure! + ask extra questions about the situation (e.g. Where did you buy these trousers?)
Student 1: (e.g. I bought them in a new shopping mall)
