Hi everyone for whom the academic year is in full swing!

I am happy to say that having taken advantage of a little break from blogging I developed a huge number of new activities.

This is how you can practise character traits and habitual actions/activities in your own classrooms too!

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE AND ABOVE

TARGET LANGUAGE 1: TRAITS OF CHARACTER (I am not including my list here)

TARGET LANGUAGE 2: TO BE TYPICAL OF SOMEBODY TO DO SOMETHING

TARGET LANGUAGE 3: HABITUAL ACTIONS/ACTIVITIES

Task. What do you think/make of adult people who collect such things. Do you know such people socially?

Example: I think that those adults who collect rare books are highly intelligent. They are interesting interlocutors. It's typical of them to read quite a lot. ....

LET'S START!

- adults who collect daggers

- adults who collect headbands

- adults who collect dolls

- adults who collect butterflies

- adults who collect rare paintings

- adults who collect aircraft and train models

- adults who collect coins

- adults who collect/buy alot of shoes

- adults who collect typewriters

- adults who collect comics

The list can go on according to your lesson timing and students levels.

Enjoy this new speaking exercise! Looking forward to reading your feedback and comments.

YK xo
