Some of my previous posts were connected with the topic "Skills & Interests". So I thought it might be a good idea to develop further materials about "Professions". Here is one of them!

LEVEL: Intermediate / Advanced

Target Language 1: CALLING

Target Language 2: SEASONED

Target Language 3: PROFESSIONS

Target Language 4: PAST SIMPLE

Task. Say how these people realized that to be such professionals was their calling. Use one of the two examples.

Mary is a seasoned hairdresser.

Example 1: She realized that to be a hairdresser was her calling when/after ...

Example 2: It happened so that ... This is how she realized that to be a hairdresser was her calling.

Alice is a seasoned surgeon. Laura is a seasoned estate agent.

Robert is a seasoned conductor. Tom is a seasoned photographer.

Martin is a seasoned stuntman. Rose is a seasoned architect.

Sam is a seasoned goldsmith. Juliana is a seasoned tailor.
