Hi everybody! Thank you so much for your feedback and supportive words about this blog! I can't thank you enough! This keeps me moving on with methodology. And here is one latest activity for an Intermediate - Advanced level class.

SUCCESS AND FAILURE

Task. Say what each person failed to do/didn’t make it to do/didn’t manage to do/was unable to do yesterday as a professional. Say what prevented him/her from doing their work properly.

(PRE-story) Everyone has bad hair days every now and then. Even such an outstanding:

• Lawyer as Bob;

• Stuntman as Richard;

• Surgeon as Mary;

• Actress as Barbara;

• Singer as Liam;

• Sportsman as George;

• Writer as James;

• Teacher as Martin;

• Artist as Olivia;

• Chef as Donald;

• Architect as Emma;

• Photographer as Fernando;

Example: Alice (outstanding talk show host)

Student: Yesterday was a bad hair day for Alice. She was unable to make a candid interview. Her guest came to the show in bad mood. This prevented Alice from asking her questions properly.
