Hi everybody! I very much hope you had holidays of a lifetime! Now it's high time I shared some new ideas with you for developing English Speaking skills.
Not long time ago an English teacher from abroad asked me to help him with some activity related to "Personalities and character". We, teachers' often find it hard to develop this topic at the Advanced level. This is what he needed.
And this is what I came up with.
Target Language 1: Types of personalities and character
Target Language 2: Everyday life activities
Target Language 3: Third conditional
Task. Say what these people would have never done/or would have done because they are such (to prove you don’t believe this happened)
Example: 1. Claire would have never forgotten to keep her promise because she’s conscientious. 2. Claire would have kept her promise because she’s conscientious.
LET'S START!
Steve (kind)
David (superstitious)
Chris (shy)
Peter (a globetrotter)
Sally (a coach potato)
Ben (generous)
Laura (goody two shoes)
Mike ( a whiz kid)
Polly ( a chatterbox)
Adam (aloof)
Have fun with this one! And please share your experiences in the comments box below!
