Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog!

This time I am delighted to introduce to you a new English project for the primary school: my self-written poems.

But what makes them different from other school poems?

The answer is: it takes two to read them! Which means they help not only to practise English in a funny way but also to develop dialogue skills at an early age!

This short dialogue poem is devoted to COLOURS:

Student 1: What can be red?

Student 2: A tomato, a rose...

Student 1: A watermelon?

Student 2: Inside when it grows.

Student 1: Tell me what's green.

Student 2: Grass and maybe a frog.

Student 1: A crocodile?

Student 2: Which can swim like a log.

Student 1: What can be white?

Student 2: Snow and maybe a cloud.

Student 1: What about milk?

Student 2: Absolutely. No doubt.

Student 1: Tell me what's blue.

Student 2: It's an ocean, the sky.

Student 1: What about eyes?

Student 2: People have them. Do I?

Student 1: What can be brown?

Student 2: A potato, a tree...

Student 1: A chocolate bar?

Student 2: Do you want some? It's free!

Let me know how it goes in your primary school class! I look forward to your feedback!

Yours,

YK xo
