A warm hello to everyone reading this blog post!

I would like to introduce you to a new English Speaking activity of mine which helps to:

1. Practise types of relations;

2. Practise types of personalities;

3. Practise Present Simple.

Task. Read the first sentence and complete the second one to prove your attitude.

LET'S START!

1. Michael's elder brother is a couch potato. What I like/dislike about him is that ...

2. David's nephew is a whiz kid. What I like/dislike about him is that ...

3. Julia's younger sister is a busybody. What I like/dislike about her is that ...

4. Ryan's niece is a black sheep. What I like/dislike about her is that ...

5. Collin's acquaintance is a high-flyer. What I like/dislike about him is that ...

6. Tim's brother-in-law is a go-getter. What I like/dislike about him is that ...

7. Edward's half cousin is a bad egg. What I like/dislike about him is that ...

Possible answer to sentence 1:

What I like about him is that he reads a lot staying at home all day. What I don't like about him is that he is lazy when it comes to earning money.

Good luck in your teaching and studying English!

PS: This is not a full exercise. This is just an idea to help you to develop your own materials!

Yours,

YK xo
