It's high time I shared a new Speaking activity which can take off at your Engish lessons at Elementary and Pre-intermediate levels.

Target Language 1: FUTURE SIMPLE, PAST SIMPLE, PRESENT SIMPLE

Target Language 2: EXPRESSIONS OF INTENTION

Target Language 3: EVERYDAY LIFE VOCABULARY

Task. Read each sentence and say if it is true or false. Be ready to answer extra Teacher's questions if it is true.

1. I have half a mind to take English courses in London in the near future. (true?)

(Possible teacher's questions: With whom will you go to London? At what school will you study? How long will the courses be? Did you study in London?)

2. I am going to spend next weekend in the country. (true?)

(Possible teacher's questions: Will you go to a friend's country house? What will you do? When did you spend time in th country last time?...)

3. I would like to go on a business trip in one week. (true?)

(Possible teacher's questions: Will you go by car, by train or by air? How long will your business trip be? How often do you have business trips? Did you go on business trips abroad?...)
