Warm welcome to all my followers and new guests!
Here we go again! This time in my monthly rubric I can't wait to share another exercise of mine which you can practice at English lessons.
It is suitable for the topic "Relations". Here we have two Target Languages:
1. Target Language 1 - Words and expressions to describe personality
2. Target Language 2 - Present Simple (though you can add other tenses to make the task more complicated)
Task. Pick up one word or expression from the LIST to match with a person and explain the reason as in the example below:
Teacher: What do you make of Adam?
Student: Adam is many-sided. That's because he reads a lot, travels much, and has plenty of interests.
LET'S START!
LIST: couch potato, mine of information, shrewd, conscientious, aloof, big cheese, ...
PEOPLE: David, Luke, Maria, Alice, Tracy, Bill, ...
ATTENTION! The lists are shortened so you can add any other words, expressions and names.
Good luck!
